As World Menopause Day approaches, we wanted to celebrate some of our favorite menopause moments on TV and movies. As Kristen Scott Thomas’s character proclaims in her soliloquy on menopause in the show Fleabag, “It is horrendous, but then it’s magnificent.” There are so man great moments in TV and movies about menopause. We love that more and more women in midlife are showing up as lead characters from Hacks to Sex and the City. Women sharing the honest truth about aging in a smart and clever way. We all have a lot of life ahead of us, so it is time to have open conversations about menopause, embrace the changes and get on with it. Here’s to the highs and lows of midlife!
